Hello, and welcome to my website! It is an honor to have you here. I’d like to take just a moment to introduce myself.

My name is Jerry Morgan. I am running for Missouri State Representative in the 66th District. You know, I believe that America is the greatest country in the world, and I believe there are two primary reasons for this. First, the Founding Fathers, for the most part, believed that in order to be successful in their new land, they had to rely on God’s blessings and do their best to abide by his will. Second, the founders had the incredible vision to draft our Constitution, which, outside of the Bible, is the most impressive written document in history.

Of course, the Constitution was written over 200 years ago. There are those who believe that it is a “living and breathing” document, subject to the whims of modern day America. I believe differently. I believe that the further we stray from the founders’ vision, both in terms of their faith in God and in their understanding of the Constitution, the worse we become as a people.

Unfortunately, I also believe that these values have not always been upheld and supported here in Missouri. I have witnessed, as you have, activist judges take the law into their own hands and fashion it according to their personal devices. I have witnessed, as you have, the results of the killing of thousands upon thousands of unborn children. I have witnessed, as you have, government takeover of private lands for purely private purposes through eminent domain. I have witnessed, as you have, taxes continually on the rise. I have witnessed, as you have, Christianity taken out of the public sphere, while virtually every other religion is allowed. I have witnessed, as you have, the ridicule of our men and women in uniform, and the celebration of regimes across the globe which can only be accurately described as oppressive dictatorships.

I don’t begin to think that I can change all of these issues. I also understand that some of you may disagree with me on some of them. That’s okay. However, I give you my word that as your Representative, I will always say what I believe to be right for this State and Country, not what the pollsters tell me is right for my approval rate. I also give you my word that I will have an open door policy and be your advocate in Jefferson City.

I look forward to meeting you and working together with you to preserve our freedoms and protect the future of this Country for our children and grandchildren.
